Senior Product Designer

Are you a UI/UX designer who believes that great application design has the power to improve people’s lives? The Harmonize Health Product team is seeking a designer to join our fast growing team.

We’re looking for an innately curious team member with deep experience in the principles of design, and a demonstrated ability to deliver intuitive user experiences and excellent application design for remote health monitoring. We’re a diverse team from many backgrounds, with a shared commitment to making a difference through our work.

You'll be working on a variety of product features, including those for our patient-facing mobile app (iOS and Android), as well as our web app, used by clinical and operational teams.

Here’s What You’ll Bring: 

  • 5-8 years’ mobile and web design experience with some of that on a medical/health product
  • A degree in graphic design, visual design, human-computer interaction, or related field and/or relevant experience
  • A portfolio that shows the ability to create attractive, user-friendly, efficient experiences
  • Expertise with standard design tools (Figma, Illustrator, etc.)
  • Technical skills, e.g., UX research, wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, visual communication, information architecture
  • Familiarity working with or other usability research tools
  • Familiarity working with and contributing to a design system
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills; highly attentive to detail
  • Demonstrable experience working with product management
  • Comfort working on a diverse team with local and distributed teammates
  • Ability to establish credibility and relationships with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Knowledge of, and comfort with, general principles of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Strong problem solving and analytical design skills
  • Ability to validate concepts at various levels of fidelity throughout the design process, from wireframes to fully visualized prototypes

Here’s What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee all design elements, from initial conception to final delivery
  • Interview representative users and stakeholders to establish user needs, and incorporate feedback and findings into designs through data from user testing
  • Implement UX research techniques to help the team use data to evaluate performance and usability
  • Prototype workflows, including various states and interactions, to communicate designs with others
  • Collaborate with other designers to give and receive feedback
  • Utilize design process methodology to help make sure artifacts and deliverables are standardized, organized and available
  • Take responsibility for the look and feel of new and redesigned software products
  • Provide the design artifacts for stories in the product backlog, and clarification on design and styling to developers
  • Present proposed design solutions to senior stakeholders with polish and comfort in spoken, written, and visual formats
  • Work with product teammates to establish, track, and execute design-relevant quarterly goals
  • Collaborate with product teammates and other stakeholders in discovery and planning activities to conceptualize features, map user journeys, and build personas 
  • Track user feedback to determine improvements needed
